Mixed Ability Flag-Rugby
Our junior and senior Mixed Ability Flag-Rugby program can accommodate players of all experience levels.
No matter your experience, whether you’ve never touched a rugby ball before, or you eat, sleep, breathe rugby, and everything in between, WE HAVE A TEAM FOR YOU!
If you are:
- returning to sport
- new to rugby
- looking to gain experience, or an
- athlete with or without disability
Then Mixed Ability Rugby is for you!
The Mixed Ability model focuses on creating a safe, supportive and welcoming space for all individuals in the community, respecting and valuing the diverse backgrounds and intersecting identities that make up the fabric of our communities.
The model emphasizes the need for regular, and sustainable team offerings on mainstream sport teams through practice, competitions, and social engagement for individuals of any background or ability without classification, divisions, or labels. Players with and without disabilities play together on the same team.
Practices will be held once a week as we start our 10s flag-rugby season. The 10s season officially starts on June 6th, check our schedule to see when our first kick off is!

Our meeting location is located at the back of Stephen Leacock Collegiate Institute (2450 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1T 2M5), see red highlighted box found in the image below. The practice and grounds are wheelchair accessible, however the sport is generally played on grass fields.

If you have any questions, please contact us and we’ll help you get started.
